From Startup Spirit to Global Scale: Reflections on My Journey Across the Industry
Say Hello to Kristin Kielpinski - Vice President - Exhibitor Relations - Qube Wire

Having spent most of my career in content delivery, alternative content, and technology, I’ve had the opportunity to experience a range of company cultures—some scrappy and agile, others deeply rooted in tradition. But stepping into my current role as VP of Exhibitor Relations at Qube Wire, a company with true global reach, I’ve found myself reflecting on how different the landscape can look when you operate on an entirely different scale.
The global presence of Qube Cinema is a game-changer. It’s one thing to aim for international relevance; it’s another to see it in action—collaborating across time zones, working with partners from every corner of the world, and having a brand that’s instantly recognized in almost any market. That kind of reach isn’t just impressive—it opens doors and fast-tracks opportunities that smaller or more regional companies simply can’t match.
Another striking difference is infrastructure. As we all have experienced in our careers, some of the companies I’ve worked with had to make do with limited support systems, stretching teams thin, and relying on individuals to wear multiple hats. This organization thrives on a well-oiled foundation. Processes are streamlined, resources are accessible, and teams are empowered by the systems in place, not slowed down by them.
What continues to impress me the most, though, is the commitment to innovation. Even with the stability and reputation of an established global brand, there’s no complacency. The drive to push boundaries, explore new technology, and reimagine how we connect with audiences is alive and well. It’s a culture where creativity is backed by capability—where ideas don’t just live on whiteboards, they turn into action.
In this role, I’ve come to appreciate the blend of scale and agility, something that isn’t easy to find. And while I value every step of the journey that got me here, there’s something uniquely powerful about working within a company that not only supports your vision but has the resources and reach to bring it to life. Having completed the migration of the recently acquired Meta Media theatres, which brings the US footprint to nearly 750 theatres with over 47 circuit partners. We continue to expand our content and product offerings and footprint in the US, positioning us as an end-to-end solution globally. We recently also started our LIVE testing in the US, which will bring more content partners and content to theatres, making Qube Wire an even more competitive solution for content delivery.
As I look toward the future, I’m excited by the possibilities that come with this kind of platform and momentum. My vision is to continue building strong, strategic relationships with exhibitors while helping shape the evolution of how audiences experience content. With the right mix of innovation, collaboration, and insight, we’re not just reacting to changes in the industry—we’re helping lead them. And that’s exactly where I want to be.
