The Qube Wire’s Support Team is on call and on task 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You know them as your reliable support partners who are always available to assist, but this article will give you additional insight into what happens behind the scenes.
The Qube Wire’s Support Team is on call and on task 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This team ensures that thousands of theatres receive their movies each week. The team consists of three groups that you would have been in touch with at different points in time. The Operations team is at the forefront – they field all initial inquiries. They also place bookings and follows up on delivery schedules. The Tech Support team oversees WireTAP installations and any file transfer issues. The Data team updates our vast database of cinemas and generates around 30 reports weekly for different consumers.
Let’s peek into the preparations prior to each movie’s release. The clock starts ticking 14 days prior to its release, but for a bigger project we start three weeks earlier. Three dates are important for planning a release schedule, the release date, the date we are likely to receive the content and any holidays in between. As regional holidays and weekends impact hard drive deliveries, we meticulously map them.
Communication is imperative in the team! We send out weekly and monthly update mails to all our delivery partners around the world. Weekly meetings with the client teams and delivery partners help communicate the latest updates, sort issues, and forecast. The clients get frequent status updates on the deliveries. Every movie has a Title Lead who is the single point of contact for all information related to it.
Every team member is essential to our success, but here are some people who have made a big impact recently. Kishore R is a creative and out-of-the-box thinker who found a solution for a recent, tricky dual-Key issue. He analyzed it, read various case studies on similar instances, ran the issue in a stimulator to analyze the certificate combination that worked at the site and gave a solution.
Last December, Chennai was hit by a major typhoon. The floods resulted in the loss of power and internet across most of the city. This caused a manpower shortage during critical operational windows, but Shaktivel V and Abhijit Nanavare stepped up to handle additional loads while working remotely. Both shouldered 12-hour shifts until the regular team was back online. Mahesh S also stepped in whenever he got a power connection. All of them exemplify Qube Wire’s commitment to our customers and their success.
