Summer 26 Target Install Update

Global Network Updates

  • Our Install growth over the last year has been substantial, with the US market being a strong focus. We now have over 1611 sites installed in the US alone with large chains such as Regal and AMC complete. We are working with major studios for content and key delivery.

  • KDM End to End Solution has been available through Qube Wire for over 10 years. Qube Wire handled over 600,000 deliveries globally over the past 12 months and managed more than 4,7M keys around the world, including studio deliveries. I propose that as we have handled Sony DCP delivery in the Middle East for many years now, that we are granted a test in the region for KDM’s.

  • We have the largest electronic base with over 2200 installs across the ASPAC region. This includes Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal and Sri Lanka all with significant installs and HDD back up.

  • Our Brazilian installs continue to grow, and we now have 335 theatres fully electronic, with HDD back up through Auwe. We will see further developments in LATAM this year and keep you fully informed. Mariam Batcha has joined the team and will running LATAM sales from now.

  • AAM – We recently acquired Arts Alliance Media to add to our portfolio of products and services. The combination of our current range and the new provides a super exciting prospect and we’ll let you know any developments immediately.

  • Other products – Qube has developed a number of products outside of Qube Wire. These are available to browse at www.qubecinema.com. From VR stages, Epiq PLF to Cheers, iCount and more.

EMEA Updates

  • In the EMEA, we have fully installed in Turkey and are providing you with a solid reliable service there.

  • We are currently at 23 sites in Greece and are looking to complete full install of approx. 200 sites by Q4. This will include audited partner DCS Lab for remediation and HDD backup.

  • Italy is operating as a virtual monopoly, and we are looking to improve operating and customer offerings. We have limited installs there now and are in the process at looking at further installs. I would be interested in your opinion on a full install plan in Italy.

  • France is now available to Sony as an electronic solution through our partnership with Sonis. We would like to present this solution to you now.

  • CIS territories are being explored, and we would be interested to hear which would be of interest to you.

  • Nigeria has 13 Qube Wire installs currently and we have a significant 5G agreement in place. We will also use our Starlink installs where necessary. We already deliver in Nigeria electronically, and Ghana and Liberia fully electronically for other studios. Our partner, FilmOne provides HDD remediation.

  • Kenya is with 2 installs, with further in progress. Tanzania ….% with …, Uganda ….% …..and Ethiopia 100%. Our partner, Crimson provides HDD remediation.

  • As ever, we continue to work with our strategy firmly based around how we can make life easier for you and the market. We have never ‘chosen’ countries strictly on the merits of profit margin and are focused on removing HDD’s from the entire chain. Let us know where we can help out.

ASPAC Updates

  • Now delivering for studios in Cambodia, with 20 sites installed and Westec Media providing HDD remediation.

  • We've recently signed with local vendor in Laos for remediation facility and currently rolling out our WT installations at 5 cinemas (total cinemas in Laos). Will be ready for delivery in mid September.

  • In Indonesia, we've installed WT at all Cinepolis sites (65 sites) and now started to install at CGV sites (8 sites are done so far) = total 63 sites ready. After CGV, will start to reach out to independent cinemas. Will have a good 55% market share when all are completed.

  • Also finalising agreement with local vendor for remediation facility.

  • In Vietnam, we've a total of 209 sites installed, covering 85% of the total market. Including CGV, Galaxy, Lotte, Beta, BHD and all independent cinemas. Remaining 15% either are aging or have 5G/ infrastructure problem.
